Sky Rangers: Your Guide Extraordinaires!
Here at Soaring, we are honored to hold the reputation as the world’s longest zipline course. Our 27 thrilling spans traverse through a virgin old-growth Ponderosa pine forest and across the Animas River, making the entire first-class experience an adventure to remember. But more than our incredible zipline, the Soaring experience is truly made by the diverse and exuberant staff which we employ. Our staff comes from all corners of the United States, from Florida to Maine to Oregon. Their unique backgrounds and shared passion for adventure makes for a truly special atmosphere in the trees. Our Sky Rangers ensure proper safety procedures are in place while providing a personalized and intimate environment on our Durango zip line. The specialized Eco Rangers share their abundant knowledge of the San Juan National Forest and all its inhabitants as they guide you through one of Mother Nature’s most breathtaking destinations. In addition, our incredible kitchen staff skillfully prepares a gourmet lunch each day for all our guests which they happily enjoy while overlooking the gorgeous Animas River. Though the scenery and zip lines may take away your breath, our top-notch staff will be the reason you remember your day here at Soaring.
Before Soaring Tree Top Adventures came to be, our property was home to Tall Timber Resort, a five-star, five-diamond mountain getaway nestled in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. Owned by the Beggrow family, Tall Timber successfully ran alongside other elite resorts in North America, always maintaining its first-class status. When the Beggrows decided to convert their resort business to Soaring Tree Top Adventures in the 2000s, it remained vitally important to them that the new business venture would reflect their supreme commitment to service. As such, our business today runs on the best safety officers and personalities available! Our Sky Rangers provide an unparalleled canopy tour that will leave you satisfied and exhilarated.
