Things to Do in Durango

Durango, Colorado has been a vacation destination for many travelers for years. There are literally hundreds of things to do in Durango, CO for all ages. Due in large part to the mild summers and breezy mountain air, it has always been a nice escape for anyone who lives in a busy city or hot environment. Our tall Ponderosa pines provide shade and relief from the blistering summer heat and humidity experienced in many other parts of the country. While here, we encourage a visit to some of Durango’s local attractions and a stay in one of Durango’s lovely hotels.

Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad  – A Heritage railroad offering trips between Durango & Silverton, Colorado, and providing events for all ages throughout the year.  One of the top things to do in Durango.
